Use of beats - Beats are purchased with the intent to add vocal tracks, and may not be re-sold or re-published without vocals by any means. - With added vocal tracks, finished products may be distributed freely at any price that suits the beat owner. II. Beat Rights - Non-exclusive beats are sold with non-exclusive rights... meaning that the beat can be purchased by any number of people who wish to use it. You might be looking for non-exclusive beats if you're putting together a mixtape or some sort of personal project, and you don't care whether someone else might have the same beat. - Exclusive beats are sold with exclusive rights... meaning that the beat can only be purchased by the first buyer. After an exclusive beat is sold once, it is immediately removed from the site. If you plan on the commercial release of an album or track, or you just want to know that you are the sole owner of a beat--you're probably looking for exclusive beats. - All beats are sold free of royalty charges. Once you've bought a beat, it is yours to use freely to create and distribute a finished song. III. Producer Credit - If publishing a song using a beat purchased at DrewbaccaBeats.com, the artist must somehow verbally attribute the beat (in writing) to either "Drewbacca", "Drewbacca Beats", "DrewbaccaBeats.com" or "Andrew Reineke" |
